Another Wind Advisory Issued for Medford-Ashland Area

WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THURSDAY TO 7 PM FRIDAY

  • WHAT…Wind Advisory active Thursday night, southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
  • WHERE…The southern Rogue Valley in Jackson County along Interstate 5 between Ashland and Medford, and the foothills of the Cascades.
  • WHEN…From 7 PM Thursday to 7 PM Friday.
  • IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
  • PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
