The Jackson County Fair Board of Directors has concluded their search for a new Expo Manager, announcing Pamela Fyock as the chosen candidate. The selection process, orchestrated by the efforts of the search and selection committee led by Matt Samitore, culminated in the appointment of Fyock.
Matt Samitore, a member of the Selection Committee, expressed satisfaction with the process, stating, “The process was very successful in finding our new manager, Pamela Fyock.” Samitore highlighted the committee’s commitment to the task, from reviewing applications to conducting interviews with the finalists, ultimately leading to Fyock’s endorsement by the Jackson County Fair Board.
Expo officials say Pamela Fyock brings a wealth of experience to her new role, holding a BA in Animal Science with a Minor in Agricultural Business from California Polytechnic State University. Fyock’s extensive background includes contributions to prominent events such as The California State Fair, San Benito County Fair, Tulare County Fair, and the Sacramento County Fair. Her career encompasses roles as an event promoter, small business owner, and fundraiser.
Expressing her gratitude, Pamela Fyock stated, “I am very honored to be selected and trusted with the management of the Jackson County Expo and Fairgrounds.” During the interview process, Fyock recognized the dynamic future, supportive community, exceptional staff, and leadership in Jackson County, expressing her eagerness to commence her duties.
J.B. Dimick, President of the Jackson County Fair Board, conveyed confidence in Fyock’s capabilities, affirming, “Pam Fyock will be the next Manager in the long line of fantastic Fair Managers.” Dimick praised the Selection Committee for their discerning choice, emphasizing Fyock’s role in advancing the Jackson County Expo and meeting community expectations.
