Lake of the Woods Highway Shut Down 15 Miles East of Crater Lake Intersection
A vehicle fire has led to the closure of all eastbound and westbound OR-140 lanes, specifically at Milepost 15, just east of its junction with Crater Lake Highway (OR-62).
Authorities urge commuters to consider alternative routes or delay their travel plans as crews work to manage the aftermath of the incident.
UPDATE: One lane is open with flaggers. Use caution.
FINAL UPDATE: Highway is open, use caution in the area as debris is still present on the side of the roadway.
