Water Main Break Closes North Medford High School

North Medford High School (NMHS) is closed today due to a water main break in the vicinity. Allen Barber, the school’s principal, announced that the City of Medford has responded by shutting off the water supply to the campus.

As of now, there is no time estimate when the water will be fully restored, leaving the school in a challenging situation.

Principal Allen Barber has made the decision to cancel school for the rest of the day. This closure will allow the school administration and authorities to assess the situation, make necessary repairs, and ensure the water supply is safe for use once again.

Parents and guardians of NMHS students are advised to pick up their children. Further updates regarding the situation will also be communicated through the school’s official channels.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.

UPDATE: Medford School District announced that the issue has been fixed, no additional delays or cancellations are expected.
