A significant vehicle fire disrupted the morning commute on North Main Street near Schofield Street in Ashland earlier today. The incident occurred at approximately 7:12 a.m., leaving commuters in the area with traffic delays and road closures.


The Ashland Fire and Police Departments responded to the scene, working to control the fire and ensure the safety of everyone in the vicinity. As a result of their efforts, the situation is gradually improving.
Currently, all lanes on North Main Street remain blocked, but authorities are actively working to clear the area and reopen the lanes for traffic. Commuters heading into town on North Main Street near Schofield Street are urged to expect delays until the work is completed.
