Officials Offer Community Tips as Rogue Music Fest Begins Today

Today is the day, the Rogue Music Festival starts tonight! The team at The Expo has some important tips for the community and concert attendees to help create a fun and exciting experience for all.

Guests and the general public should expect heavy traffic in and around the Central Point area on Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17. Traffic will likely peak in the early afternoon to evening hours as the event nears the time that headliners Carrie Underwood and Eric Church perform and will be heavy again upon event departure in the late evening hours.

Those not attending the event should consider using an alternative route that avoids the Interstate 5 Exit 33 area in Central Point and East Pine Street between Interstate 5 and Table Rock Road. Drivers should expect a heavier than usual number of pedestrians surrounding the concert venue and use extreme caution while driving, especially upon event departure.

Event guests are strongly advised to visit the Rogue Music Festival website in advance of arrival to familiarize themselves with protocols on what types of personal belongings will be allowed into the venue to avoid delays at the entrance gate. For the security of all guests, The Expo will be strictly enforcing a clear bag policy, which is very common amongst similar venues.

If you are attending the event, it is recommended that you become familiar with parking directions, the clear bag policy, and other important topics by visiting the event website in advance, which is located at https://roguemusicfest.com The site is full of useful information on the cashless purchasing program that guests will be required to use, as well as answers to several frequently asked questions.
