At approximately 1:43p today, multiple fire agencies and units responded to a structure fire callout on the 5900 block of Upton Rd.
At this time, at least five fire crews remain on scene for cleanup and mop up duties.
Upton Road in the Central Point area is temporarily closed between Wilson Road and Gibbon Road due to emergency service providers working in the area.
Jackson County Roads asks drivers to use alternate routes and avoid the area this afternoon.
3:30P Update: Jackson County Roads say all streets in the area are now open.
