At approximately 5:37p today, ECSO 911 operators received several calls regarding a serious crash that took place on Table Rock Rd near Merriman and Swing Lane in northwest Medford.
Upon arrival, on-scene emergency personnel requested three Mercy Flights ambulances for at least three patients. One victim was believed to have been ejected from one of the vehicles involved. The second victim was trapped in a vehicle as Medford Fire dispatched a Heavy Rescue unit to assist. The third victim was located by Medford Police walking further south on Table Rock near a fast food restaurant.
At this time, Table Rock Road is closed to all traffic at the intersection with OR99. Avoid the area as this is expected to be a lengthy closure.
The Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) Team has also been activated to investigate.
At this time, there is no information regarding the conditions of those individuals involved in this crash. We have reached out to a Medford Police representative and are awaiting a response.
Medford Alert will be covering this incident as it continues, however we will not be sending a camera crew to the scene in accordance with our updated policies regarding serious vehicle crashes.
7:00p UPDATE:
Medford Police report all southbound lanes are closed along Table Rock Road at the intersection of Merriman Road as they respond to the serious motor vehicle accident and search for a male suspect.
The suspect in the incident, identified as Daniel Silva Ledezma, fled on foot and is considered armed and dangerous. If you see the man in these photos please call 911 immediately.
There is heavy police presence in the area and authorities ask that you use alternate routes at this time.
8:00p UPDATE:
Medford Police have reported the suspect is in custody, there is no longer a community threat, The partial Table Rock Rd closure remains active.
