During the February 2 City Council meeting, Council will consider approving an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City and State of Oregon through Oregon Housing Community Services (OHCS) for $1,295,775 to support expansion of the Medford Navigation Center.

If Council approves the proposed IGA, it would grant the City $1 million for acquisition of 915 Town Center Drive in Medford. The renovations will include excavation, fencing, construction of a 30-unit parking lot, driveway, asphalting and striping. The remaining $295,775 would be allocated to a service provider chosen by the City to manage the coordinated service-delivery component of the Navigation Center.
The Navigation Center is operated by Rogue Retreat. com When complete, it will provide 24/7 emergency shelter access to health services, public benefits, permanent housing connections and other services for unhoused individuals and families.
