South Medford High School Senior Allie Bates is partnering with the American Red Cross to sponsor a blood drive for her 18th Birthday.
The blood drive will occur on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023 from 11:30am – 5:30pm at Jackson County Fire District 3 Headquarters (8383 Agate Rd, White City).
The public is invited to donate, and can schedule a time slot online at www.redcrossblood.org using the sponsor code “AlliesBirthdayBloodDrive”.
All donors at this event can receive a $10 Amazon E-Gift card from the Red Cross.
High School Senior Allie Bates has donated blood regularly since she was 16 years old. After high school, Allie is planning on becoming a Nurse and sees her support of blood donation as part of serving her community.
“Doing this blood drive as part of my 18th Birthday is a way to give someone else a chance to celebrate another birthday” Allie says.
