Medford and Eagle Point Police Team-Up for High Visibility Patrols

Earlier today, the Medford Police Department (MPD) announced that they are partnering with the Eagle Point Police Department (EPPD) over the New Years weekend.

Authorities say the police team-up will focus on impaired driving.

There will be high-visibility patrols on New Year’s Eve from 10:00 PM through 3:00 AM.

“This operation will be aimed at preventing impaired driving and making the roads safer for everyone,” Medford Police remarked on social media.

Officials remind the public that it is never ok to drive impaired. Plan ahead and designate a sober driver, use public transportation, or a ride share service.

MPD says that if you see an impaired driver on the road, immediately call 911.
