The Williams Rural Fire Protection District stated that there were several accidents yesterday around the county.
Williams Fire was dispatched to 2 vehicular accidents hours apart from each other. One on Water Gap at Pine Tree to assist Applegate Valley Fire District on a single vehicle roll-over that
sheared a power pole resulting in one patient being extricated and transported to the hospital via Ambulance.
The other was a head-on two car collision on Williams Hwy in the slick curves before Lower Powell Creek Road. One was transported
to the hospital via Ambulance and one was placed in custody with the a JoCo Sheriff’s unit on scene.
Officials want to remind drivers to be safe after any rain as many rural roadways are curvaceous and intolerable of excess speeds.
