Interstate 5 from Central Point south, including the cities of Central Point, Medford, Phoenix, Talent and Ashland. Portions of OR62 including the cities of White City and Eagle Point and OR238 east of Jacksonville

Description

WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 1 PM WEDNESDAY.

WHAT: Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

WHERE: Interstate 5 from Central point south, including the cities of Central Point, Medford, Phoenix, Talent and Ashland. Portions of highway 62 including the cities of White City and Eagle Point and highway 238 east of Jacksonville.

WHEN: From 7 AM to 1 PM PST Wednesday.

IMPACTS: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: The strongest winds are expected to be south of Medford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS: Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
