The City of Medford Planning Department is going to listen to a proposal for the construction of a 3,035 square foot restaurant, the remodeling of the existing pool structure, and expansion of the eastern parking lot. The property is located
at 709 N. Phoenix Road, approximately 330 feet south of Calle Vista Drive.
Originally, the area slated for the new building was part of the Rogue Valley Tennis and Swim Club. Shortly after they moved to their new grounds at the Rogue Valley County Club, the main building was remodeled. Currently home to The Courthouse Family Fitness and other tenants. The pool has sat idle for several years.
The restaurant will be a new location for The Point, which currently has locations in downtown Central Point and south gateway Medford.
Once approved, construction may begin as early as the spring.
