Grants Pass Woman Arrested in Animal Neglect Case

GRANTS PASS, Ore. (Oct. 9, 2026) — A 72-year-old woman was arrested on animal neglect charges Thursday after Josephine County Animal Control officers seized four dogs, a cat and two pigs from a residence on Northeast Ridge Road in Grants Pass, authorities said.

Roxanda Radomsky was arrested Oct. 8 and lodged at the Josephine County Adult Jail on one count of first-degree animal neglect and six counts of second-degree animal neglect.

According to Josephine County Animal Control, the investigation began Oct. 4 after the agency received a complaint alleging possible animal neglect.

Animal Control officers contacted Radomsky the following day to investigate the allegations. Officers offered assistance and potential solutions and gave her a deadline to address the situation, but she did not comply, according to the agency.

On Oct. 8, animal control officers, assisted by Josephine County Sheriff’s Office detectives and the Grants Pass Police Department, served a search warrant at Radomsky’s residence.

During the search, authorities seized four dogs, one cat and two large pigs from inside the home. All seven animals have since been examined and are receiving necessary care, officials said.

Authorities said no further details were being released at the time of the announcement.
