CAVE JUNCTION, Ore. (Aug. 31, 2026) — An AMBER Alert was issued Monday morning for a child reportedly taken from an address along Redwood Highway, with authorities asking the public to watch for a specific vehicle.
According to the alert, the vehicle is described as a 2006 silver Infiniti M30 with Oregon license plate OEO 422.
The vehicle was reportedly taken from 32429 Redwood Highway at approximately 12 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31, 2026.
Cellphones across Southern Oregon and Northern California began receiving the emergency alert at approximately 11:19 a.m.
UPDATE: The Josephine County Sheriffs Office reports the child have been located and is safe.
