Bend Fight Leaves Two Boys Hospitalized, Two Teens Facing Charges

BEND, Ore. (Jun. 22, 2026) — Two 14-year-old Bend residents were arrested Sunday night following an altercation involving multiple juveniles that left two boys injured, according to Bend Police.

Officers responded at approximately 11:35 p.m. Sunday, June 21, to the area of Lodgepole Drive and Mahogany Street after receiving a report of an unknown problem involving several juveniles.

When officers arrived, they located two juveniles at the scene and determined that two other juveniles involved in the incident had already left the area.

Following an investigation, police determined that a fight had occurred between four boys. Two of the juveniles sustained injuries during the incident and were transported to St. Charles Bend for treatment. Both were later treated and released.

Police said the investigation resulted in the arrest of two 14-year-old boys. One juvenile was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon, while the second was arrested on suspicion of menacing.

Both teenagers were transported to the Deschutes County Juvenile Community Justice Facility.

Authorities have not released additional details regarding the circumstances of the altercation. The investigation remains ongoing.
