Splash Pads Across Medford Now Open Daily for Summer Fun

MEDFORD, Ore. (May. 22, 2026) — Splash pads across Medford opened for the season Friday, May 22, giving residents a chance to cool off during the holiday weekend as warmer temperatures arrive in Southern Oregon.

The city announced that six public splash pads are now operating daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with an additional splash pad available at Rogue X for visitors with paid admission.

The following splash pad locations are now open for the summer season:

• Howard School Park — 286 Mace Road

• Fichtner-Mainwaring Park — 334 Holmes Avenue

• Hawthorne Park — 501 East Main Street

• Lewis Park — 130 Lewis Avenue

• Lone Pine Park — 3286 Lone Pine Road

• Oregon Hills Park — 6001 East McAndrews Road

• Rogue X — 901 Rossanley Drive (required paid admission)

City officials said the splash pads provide residents and visitors with a way to stay cool while enjoying Medford’s parks and outdoor spaces throughout the summer.

Officials are also encouraging residents to take precautions during hot weather by staying hydrated, wearing sunscreen, dressing in lightweight clothing and taking breaks in shaded areas when needed.

The city also reminded residents never to leave children or pets unattended in parked vehicles and encouraged community members to check on vulnerable neighbors and loved ones during periods of extreme heat.

The splash pads are expected to remain open throughout the summer season, weather permitting.
