“Third Friday” Brings Expanded Market and Late-Night Shopping to Downtown Medford

MEDFORD, Ore. (May. 13, 2026) — Downtown Medford Association will host its monthly Third Friday event on May 15, bringing an expanded vendor market, art walk and downtown activities to the city center.

The free event, “Medford Third Friday + Vendors at Vogel Plaza,” will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in downtown Medford and at Vogel Plaza.

Organizers said the monthly event continues to grow as a way to connect residents and visitors with downtown businesses, galleries and restaurants.

The evening will feature extended shopping hours, local vendors, art exhibits and dining specials at more than 40 restaurants and bars.

The Third Friday Market at Vogel Plaza will include regional artists and makers selling handmade goods, artwork, crafts, beverages and desserts.

Participating galleries include Art Du Jour Gallery, Rogue Gallery and Central Art Gallery. Central Art Gallery will host a reception for its new “Interstitial” exhibition during the downtown art walk.

Businesses across downtown are also planning special activities and promotions throughout the evening.

Hen & Flour will offer fried chicken specials and dirty sodas with special guest Fizz Fixx, while retailers including Bumble & Wren, Em’z Blendz Soap Co. and Crunch Time Wreck And Escape Room will remain open later for shopping and promotions.

The Rogue Valley Family YMCA will provide free pool access, basketball and rock climbing activities for families during the event.

Visitors can also participate in wellness experiences and intuitive readings through a collaboration between Moon Bees Wellness and Champagne Cafe. Complimentary wine tastings from Peter Williams Vineyards will be available outside Common Block Brewing Company.

“Medford Third Friday is about creating energy and connection downtown,” said Annie Jenkins, executive director of the Downtown Medford Association. “Adding vendors at Vogel Plaza brings even more opportunity to support local artists and experience something new each month.”

Organizers said the event is designed to support local businesses, encourage community engagement and activate public spaces in downtown Medford.
