Eagle Point Home Searched in Ongoing Child Exploitation Probe

EAGLE POINT, Ore. (Apr 14, 2026) — A multi-agency task force served a search warrant Tuesday morning at a residence in Eagle Point as part of an ongoing child exploitation investigation, authorities said.

The Southern Oregon Child Exploitation Team (SOCET), working with the Eagle Point Police Department and the Oregon Department of Justice’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, carried out the warrant April 14 at a home on Chantrell Court.

Investigators said the warrant was obtained after authorities discovered that child sexual abuse material had been uploaded from the address. The investigation began after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which led to the issuance of subpoenas and ultimately the search warrant.

During the operation, investigators interviewed possible witnesses and individuals connected to the case. Digital devices were seized and will be forensically examined by the Southern Oregon High Tech Crimes Task Force for potential additional evidence.

Multiple agencies assisted in the investigation, including the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, the Medford Police Department, the Oregon Department of Justice ICAC Task Force, the Eagle Point Police Department, and the Southern Oregon High Tech Crimes Task Force.

Authorities said the investigation remains active, and no further details were immediately available. No information about arrests or charges has been released.

SOCET, formed in June 2020, is a joint interagency task force that includes investigators from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Medford Police Department, Oregon Department of Justice ICAC, and Homeland Security Investigations, along with prosecutors from local, state and federal agencies. The Southern Oregon High Tech Crimes Task Force also operates as a multi-agency unit focused on digital evidence and cyber-related crimes.
