
CENTRAL POINT, Ore. (Feb. 4, 2026) — A 50-year-old man wanted on multiple felony charges was arrested Monday in Central Point after police received information from another agency about his whereabouts.
Central Point Police said they were contacted Feb. 2 by the McMinnville Police Department regarding Christopher Tratz, who was believed to be staying in the 1100 block of Annalise Street. Tratz was wanted on a warrant for 20 counts of encouraging child sex abuse in the first degree.
Officers partnered with the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Offenders Task Force to locate Tratz, who was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
Police credited the McMinnville Police Department, Central Point officers and the U.S. Marshals task force for their coordinated efforts in making the arrest.
All suspects are believed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
