MEDFORD, Ore. (Jan. 20, 2026)— At Medford Alert News, we’re proud to serve Southern Oregon, Northern California, and the entire state of Oregon, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit news organization, and we rely on the support of our readers to continue delivering timely, locally sourced and independently produced news.
In 2025 alone, we reached more than 27 million views across our platforms — a powerful reminder that the need for trusted local journalism has never been greater. Our staff donated over 1,000 hours of news researching, producing, website design, and community involvement last year alone. We’re also grateful for the incredible partnerships we’ve built with Rogue Community College, Grange Co-op, Wildfire Aware, and many other organizations and businesses over the past year. We have never taken any public or tax-payer funds.
To thank our supporters, we’re offering a limited-edition gift for anyone who donates at the Bronze Tier or higher, while supplies last.
We teamed up with a local Medford small business to create custom stitched supporter hats. Bronze Tier donors and above will receive their choice of either one of the Medford Alert News “Cascades Camo” or “2011 Black” Richardson 112 snap-back hat, shipped directly to their address as a thank you for their support.
