Rogue Community College Offers Free Dental X-Rays During Winter Term

WHITE CITY, Ore. (Dec. 18, 2025) — Rogue Community College’s dental assistant and dental hygiene students will offer free full-mouth dental X-rays during winter term as part of their clinical training, the college announced.

The X-rays will be available from Jan. 5 through March 20 at the RCC Table Rock Campus in White City. The hands-on experience is part of students’ radiology lab coursework and is designed to prepare them for clinical examinations.

At the RCC Dental Hygiene Clinic, a full-mouth set of X-rays typically costs $30. A comparable set at a private dental office can cost up to $250 and generally includes 18 individual films, according to the college.

To qualify, patients must be at least 18 years old, have at least 24 fully erupted teeth visible in the mouth, and be eligible for a full-mouth X-ray, meaning they have not had one taken within the past three years.

Patients who participate receive the X-rays at no cost, and, upon request, the images can be sent to their dental provider.

In addition to X-rays, the RCC Dental Hygiene Clinic offers free screenings and a range of low-cost preventive services and treatments, including sealants, fluoride treatments, debridement and laser therapy.

“This program not only benefits our students by providing essential clinical experience, but also serves our community by offering high-quality, low-cost dental services,” said Carmen Mons, director of RCC Dental Programs. “We’re grateful for the community’s support in helping our students succeed.”
