


MEDFORD, Ore. (Dec 15, 2025) — A crash blocked the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 in north Medford on Monday evening, causing significant traffic delays.
According to transportation officials, the collision occurred near milepost 29, about one mile south of Exit 30 for OR 62. The northbound lanes were fully blocked, and drivers were urged to expect delays and use an alternate route.
As of 6:40 p.m., northbound traffic had backed up south of the Exit 27 interchange. The incident was reported by ODOT, at approximately 6:08 p.m. The crash was first called into emergency dispatch at 5:30 p.m.
No information was immediately available regarding injuries or when the roadway would reopen.
UPDATE: All lanes are now open.
