MEDFORD, Ore. (Dec 1, 2025) — The 2025 Winter Lights Festival will illuminate downtown Medford on Saturday, Dec. 6, offering families a free and festive way to kick off the holiday season.
The event runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at Pear Blossom Park, 204 N. Bartlett St., and will feature lights, music, treats, and activities for all ages, according to Medford Parks, Recreation and Facilities officials.
This year’s celebration begins with the crowd-favorite candy cane hunt at 5:15 p.m., followed by live performances, photo opportunities with Santa, a Christmas tree lighting ceremony and, weather permitting, a fireworks show.
DJ Gemineye will serve as emcee throughout the evening and host a DJ battle starting at 5:30 p.m. Attendees will also receive a lighted bracelet to join in the glow of the festivities while supplies last.
Organizers added a new attraction for 2025: an illuminated parade led by Santa. Participants are encouraged to decorate their bikes, trikes, scooters, wagons, or strollers with lights and holiday flair. Participation is free, though officials ask that families pre-register online or by calling 541-774-2400.
Lithia & Driveway will host the Polar Express station, offering hot cocoa, holiday card making, cookie decorating, and a photo booth experience provided by Boujee Pix.
The Winter Lights Festival is presented by the Medford Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department and sponsored by Lithia & Driveway, Harry & David, Rogue Valley DJs, Walkabout Brewing, and Travel Medford.
