RCC Holding $1 Clothing Sales in Medford and Grants Pass

Medford, Oregon- Rogue Community College is inviting bargain hunters to shop for a cause later this month at its annual $1 clothing sales, with proceeds supporting student scholarships.

The sales, organized by the RCC chapter of the American Association for Women in Community Colleges, will take place at two campuses: Oct. 14 at the Riverside Campus in Medford and Oct. 16 at the Redwood Campus in Grants Pass. Both events run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Shoppers can browse gently used clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and children. Most items are priced at $1, with all proceeds going toward scholarships for RCC students. The sales are open to the public.

Donations of gently used clothing are being accepted through Oct. 13 at all RCC campuses during business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Drop-off locations include the GED Office in the M Building at the Redwood Campus, Rogue Central in the Higher Education Center at the Riverside Campus, and Room 161 in the Health Professions Center at the Table Rock Campus in White City.

The AAWCC-RCC chapter focuses on professional development for women in community colleges, leadership support, and advocacy while raising money for scholarships and programs. The group’s mission is to “challenge, champion and celebrate” its members, according to the college.
