
Prospect, Oregon- Jackson County Sheriff’s Office detectives and search and rescue teams are still searching for a woman reported missing nearly a year ago in Prospect.
Deenah Padgett, 69, was last seen camping in the Prospect area on Sept. 4, 2024. She was reported missing four days later on Sept. 8.
Padgett is described as a white woman with brownish-red, partially gray hair. She is about 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighs between 90 and 100 pounds.
Investigators said extensive searches have been conducted in the area but have so far not located her. Authorities are asking for the public’s help.
Anyone who sees Padgett or knows her whereabouts is urged to call Emergency Communications of Southern Oregon dispatch at (541) 776-7206 and reference case number 24-4928. Information that may help the investigation can also be directed to Detective Friend at (541) 864-8774.
