Medford, Oregon- All southbound lanes of Interstate 5 have reopened at the North Medford interchange following a crash involving an overturned semi-truck, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.
The incident occurred near milepost 30, closing the roadway just after 6:00am, Wednesday. While traffic is once again flowing southbound through the interchange, ODOT said the eastbound OR-62 southbound on-ramp at Exit 30 will remain closed for several more hours to allow for vehicle recovery operations.
The crash also affected the adjacent Bear Creek Greenway, which remains impacted. Officials advised drivers to use alternate routes and urged caution in the area, noting that crews and equipment are still on site.
Authorities did not immediately release information about the cause of the crash or whether there were any injuries.
