East Trail Creek Fire Triggers Multi-Agency Response in Jackson County

Near Trail, Oregon- Fire crews are actively battling a wildfire sparked by lightning in northern Jackson County Tuesday morning, prompting an evacuation notice for residents in the area.

Dubbed the East Trail Creek Fire, the blaze was reported earlier today and had grown to approximately 15 acres by 10 a.m., according to fire officials. Multiple firefighting resources have been deployed to the scene in an effort to contain the flames.
