
Selma, Oregon- Authorities are searching for a 69-year-old woman who went missing Saturday afternoon after leaving her family’s vacation home in rural Josephine County.
Dawn Ida Bailey was last seen around 4:20 p.m. on May 24 in the 400 block of McMullen Creek Road in Selma, the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office said. Bailey reportedly left the residence driving a 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck with Oregon license plate 272ETU. Her direction of travel is unknown.
Bailey is described as a white female, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 102 pounds. She has grey hair and blue eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a teal tank top and white sweatpants with a Mickey Mouse print.
Josephine County Search and Rescue has been activated to assist in locating Bailey.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office at 541-474-5123.
UPDATE: Authorities say Dawn has been located and is safe. No additional information was released by officials at this time.
