Medford, Oregon- An assault investigation is underway after Medford Police officers responded to a report of an unconscious individual in the Lowe’s parking lot at Crater Lake Plaza early Thursday morning.
At approximately 2:00 a.m. on April 25, officers arrived on scene and located a victim with a serious head injury. The individual was transported to a local hospital and is currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit.
A detective and forensic technician were dispatched to assist with the investigation. According to police, a suspect has been detained and interviewed.
The case remains active, and authorities have not yet released additional details regarding the identity of the suspect or the motive behind the assault.
Police stated that further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
