Medford, Oregon- Crater Lake Avenue is closed between Alpine Court and Temple Drive, in northeast Medford, following a serious crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle.
The motorcyclist sustained significant injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. The condition of the other driver has not been released.
Law enforcement officials have called in the Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) team to investigate. Authorities expect the road to remain closed for an extended period as the investigation continues.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes. Officials have asked for patience as officers work to determine the cause of the incident.
