Structure Fire Reported at a Downtown Medford Residential Mid-Rise

Medford, Oregon, Emergency crews are currently responding to a reported structure fire at the Medford Plaza Apartments, located near the intersection of Oakdale Avenue and 10th Street in downtown Medford.

Multiple fire and emergency units are on the scene. As a result, Oakdale Avenue is closed between 8th and 11th streets. 10th Street is closed from King Street to Ivy Street.

The fire is knocked down and was contained to an appliance in the laundry room. Crews have cleared the scene after assisting with ventilating the building.
