
Medford, Oregon- The National Weather Service (NWS) in Medford has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Jackson County, which remains in effect until 10:00 a.m. PDT on Monday. The advisory covers elevations above 2,000 feet and warns of potential travel disruptions due to snowfall.
According to the NWS, periods of wet snow are expected above 2,000 feet. Areas around 2,000 feet could see a dusting to one inch of snow, while elevations above 2,500 feet may receive up to three inches. Affected areas include Prospect, higher terrain in East Medford and Ashland, as well as locations near Jacksonville Hill.
Travelers are advised to expect slippery road conditions that could impact the Monday morning commute. Motorists are urged to slow down and use caution while driving.
