
Medford, Oregon- The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the southern half of the Bear Creek and Rogue River valleys in Jackson County. The advisory will be in effect until 2:00p Sunday, March 16th.
Southeast winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph, are expected to affect Ashland, Talent, Phoenix, south Medford, and portions of Interstate 5.
The strong winds may blow around or damage unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down, and isolated power outages are possible.
Residents are advised to secure outdoor objects and use caution while driving. This advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in Jackson County.
