Near Grants Pass, Oregon– March 10, 2025 – A 22-year-old man died early Monday morning following a motorcycle crash on Granite Hill Road, according to the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:03 a.m. when emergency responders from the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon State Police, Rural Metro Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to the 2500 block of Granite Hill Road.
The rider, identified as Jesse Louis Tillett, was found off the roadway along with his 2003 Suzuki sport bike. Tillett was pronounced dead at the scene.
An initial investigation determined that the motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway, and struck several trees. Tillett was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Josephine County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Jim Geiger reported that Tillett’s next of kin have been notified. The investigation is ongoing, according to authorities.
