Lake County, Oregon- February 14, 2025 – A single-vehicle crash on Highway 140 in Lake County resulted in the death of a Grants Pass woman, according to the Oregon State Police (OSP).
The incident occurred on Friday, February 14, 2025, at approximately 11:33 a.m., near milepost 55. OSP’s preliminary investigation determined that a westbound Nissan Sentra, driven by 47-year-old Laura Anne Keys of Grants Pass, left the roadway for reasons that remain unknown. The vehicle rolled down a steep embankment and came to rest on its roof.
Keys was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities say the crash did not cause any disruption to traffic on Highway 140 during the on-scene investigation.
OSP was assisted by Lake County Search and Rescue and the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT).
