Man Critically Injured In Officer Involved Shooting in Klamath County

Klamath County, Oregon– An officer-involved shooting occurred at Collier State Park in Klamath County on Monday morning. According to initial reports, the incident involved deputies from the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office and took place at approximately 9:45 a.m.

A 35-year-old male was critically injured after being struck by gunfire. The individual was transported to a local Klamath hospital, where he is receiving medical treatment. No deputies were injured during the incident.

The Oregon State Police (OSP) is leading the investigation, with support from the Klamath Falls Police Department. Authorities have not disclosed details about the events leading to the shooting or the identity of the individual involved.

OSP stated that additional information would be provided as the investigation progresses.
