Mt. Ashland Announces Early Opening of 24/25 Winter Season

Near Ashland, Oregon- Mt. Ashland has announced an early opening for the 24/25 Winter Season, beginning with a Season Passholder Appreciation Day on Friday, December 6, 2024. General public operations will commence on Saturday, December 7, 2024, with the Sonnet, Comer, and Windsor lifts running from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Single-day lift tickets will be available starting December 7. The mountain will welcome guests with significant upgrades, including the debut of Lithia Chair, Mt. Ashland’s first new chairlift in over three decades. The official opening date for the Lithia Chair will be announced soon. The chairlift was made possible by generous contributions from Sid and Karen DeBoer and the Sid and Karen DeBoer Foundation.

All guest services, including lessons, equipment rentals, the retail shop, the T-Bar, and the Gemütlichkeit Grill, will be available on Opening Day. Additionally, the first 100 guests to ride the Windsor lift on December 6 will receive a complimentary 24/25 Winter Season neck gaiter.

Mt. Ashland officials say they look forward to welcoming visitors to the new season and celebrating this milestone in the resort’s history.
