Shooting at Private Event Near Medford Airport Leaves Two Injured

Medford, Oregon- Early Sunday, October 27, 2024, Medford Police responded to a shooting incident in the 2600 block of Bullock Road.

The incident occurred around 2:53 a.m. at a private event attended by approximately 80 individuals. Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted in the response.

Upon arrival, officers found that unknown suspects had fired multiple rounds, targeting the event’s security guard. The security guard and a juvenile in attendance were struck and subsequently transported to local hospitals. Both sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and the juvenile has since been treated and released.

The Medford Police Department has launched an investigation into the incident and is actively working to gather information. Authorities have requested that anyone with knowledge of the incident, or video footage, contact Detective Dennis at 541-774-2242.
