Medford, Oregon- Local firefighters and police officers will face off in the Southern Oregon Subaru Turf War Fundraiser Soccer Match, an event aimed at supporting veterans and first responders. The match, which will take place at the Lithia Driveway fields in South Medford, is being organized in partnership with the Whiteheart Foundation.
The Whiteheart Foundation is dedicated to helping veterans and first responders cope with PTSD through eco-therapy. This initiative focuses on providing tools and services designed to assist in the healing process and transform personal pain into a sense of purpose.
The soccer match will take place on the park’s main stadium field, under the lights, and is free to the public. In addition to the soccer game, attendees will have access to food provided by local vendors, including Ollies Pizza, Snowball Doughnuts, and Royal Coffee.
There will be opportunities to donate during the event, and those unable to attend in person can contribute by clicking this link to the fundraiser’s donation page.
Families and supporters are encouraged to attend and enjoy an evening of community and camaraderie while helping to support the critical work of the Whiteheart Foundation.
