South Medford High School Mourns the Loss of Student

Medford, Oregon- South Medford High School Principal Jonathan Lyons has announced the unexpected passing of a student. Officials say the student passed away last night, and the school administration has reached out to students, staff, and families to offer support during this difficult time.

In response to the tragedy, the school district has activated its crisis response team, dedicated to providing emotional and mental health support to students, staff, and families. Additional trained mental health professionals will be available on-site for any student seeking assistance in coping with the loss.
