
Ashland, Oregon- The southbound lanes of Interstate 5 (I-5) are currently closed at milepost 10, approximately five miles south of Ashland, following a crash involving two semi-trucks.
Authorities have established a detour at Exit 11 while crews work to clear the vehicles involved. The closure is expected to last for one to two hours as cleanup efforts continue.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes or postpone travel until the road reopens. Further updates will be provided as the situation progresses.
No information has been released regarding injuries or the cause of the crash at this time.
2:40P Update: ODOT reports that one southbound lane is open. Heavy congestion in the area.
4:25P Update: All lanes have reopened.
