At 2:29PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Highway 62 Near Crater Lake, or 8 miles southwest of Crater Lake, moving north at 35 mph.
HAZARD… Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE… Radar indicated.
IMPACT… Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Portions of the Diamond Complex, Crater Lake, Crater Lake National Park, Crater Lake Lodge, Highway 138 Diamond Lake Summit, Thousand Springs Sno-Park, Broken Arrow Campground, Clearwater Falls Recreation Site, Whitehorse Falls Recreation Site, Union Creek, Diamond Lake, Highway 62 Near Crater Lake, Thielsen View Campground, Rogue Gorge, Prospect, and Natural Bridge Campground.
