Medford, Orgon- Multiple power outages in the south Medford, Talent, Phoenix, White City, Eagle Point, and Ashland areas has resulted in traffic signals failures, prompting authorities to advise caution and patience from motorists.
With signals rendered dark, drivers are reminded to treat intersections as four-way stops until power is restored.
The outage, affecting approximately 3,333 customers as of 3:00p has led to potential delays in the affected regions. The outage was first reported shortly before 2:30 this afternoon.
Authorities urge residents to exercise caution and adhere to traffic safety guidelines until normal operations resume.
Pacific Power has crews on scene investigating the outages. There is no current listed cause of the outages. Estimated time for full service restoration is before 11:30p.
