Dog of the Week: “Toothpick” Seeking Exercise Buddy

Phoenix, Oregon- This week, we are thrilled to introduce Toothpick as the Medford Alert: Dog of the Week. Toothpick is a lively and affectionate 6-year-old female Pit Bull mix who has captured the hearts of Jackson County Animal Services volunteer dog walkers with her sweet and spirited nature.

Toothpick is a quick learner with a repertoire of tricks, including sitting, shaking, and lying down, showcasing her intelligence and eagerness to please. Her high energy levels and love for play make her an ideal companion for an active household that can provide the exercise and mental stimulation she craves.

While Toothpick would benefit from additional leash training, her enthusiasm and willingness to learn make her an excellent candidate for further development. She can be selective with her dog friends, so we strongly encourage a meet-and-greet with any potential canine housemates to ensure a harmonious match.

If you’re seeking a fun-loving and energetic dog to join you on your adventures, Toothpick is ready to become your new best friend. Come meet her and see if she’s the perfect addition to your family.

Adopting Toothpick means embarking on a shared adventure filled with learning, unforgettable experiences, and the warm companionship of this lively dog. The shelter encourages individuals interested in meeting and potentially adopting Toothpick or other lovable animals to reach out. Contact the shelter at 541-774-6654, press 5 for adoptions, and start the process of welcoming Toothpick into your loving home.
