Storms Knock Out Power to Nearly 13,000 in Medford Metro

Medford, Oregon- A number of scattered power outages in the greater Medford area has resulted in traffic signals failures, prompting authorities to advise caution and patience from motorists. 

With signals rendered dark, drivers are reminded to treat intersections as four-way stops until power is restored. 

The outage, affecting approximately 12,697 customers as of 5:50p, has led to potential delays in the affected regions. The outages were first reported shortly before 5:30p this afternoon.

Authorities urge residents to exercise caution and adhere to traffic safety guidelines until normal operations resume.

Pacific Power has crews on scene investigating the outages. Estimated time for full service restoration is before 3:30a tomorrow.
