Medford Police Searching for Missing and Endangered Elderly Man

Medford, Oregon– The Medford Police Department (MPD) has issued a plea for assistance in locating 87-year-old Dwight Findley, who has been reported missing. Dwight, who recently suffered a heart attack and is afflicted with dementia, was last seen in Medford.

Described as 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 200 lbs, Dwight has distinctive gray hair and bears large wounds on his legs. He was last seen dressed in dark faded blue jeans, a blue plaid collared shirt with gray sleeves and a black chest, and a Nike windbreaker jacket.

Adding to the urgency of the situation, Dwight may be operating a brown 2006 Toyota Camry with a noticeable fin on the back. The vehicle has the license plate number 858CGR.

Authorities urge anyone who may have seen Dwight Findley or has information about his whereabouts to contact the Medford Police Department immediately at 541-776-7206. The case has been assigned the reference number 24-4561.

The MPD emphasizes the critical nature of this situation and urges the public to assist in any way possible to ensure Dwight’s safe return to his family. Time is of the essence in locating him and ensuring his well-being.


Update: Medford Police report that he returned home late Saturday night. Mr. Findley was alerted by some Eagle Point residents who notified him about MPD looking for him.
