The family of Kenneth Clay Govan, an over the road truck driver, is appealing to the public for any information regarding his whereabouts. Govan, who hails from Ohio, was last seen in the southern Oregon area, particularly near a Freight Liner dealership on Biddle Road in Medford.
According to statements from family members, Govan’s last known location was at the dealership, where his pickup truck was impounded. Since then, there have been no sightings or communications from him. Govan’s family has been working closely with the Medford Police Department to coordinate efforts and gather any available information.
Govan, described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with black hair, blue eyes, and a distinctive lazy eye on his right side, may have a beard or be clean-shaven. As an over the road truck driver, he frequents truck stops and may be in those areas.
The family is deeply concerned about Govan’s well-being and is urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward. They are particularly concerned about his safety as he does not have access to a vehicle. “He was running the vehicle to keep warm – then CB the battery died – he couldn’t move it, due to the dead battery so that is why it was towed. That was the information we were given” said his mother Nadine Govan.
His mother also provided the following information to Medford Alert: “He is in need of food and shelter until I can get him back home. Any help with a search for him is greatly appreciated.”
Anyone with information about Kenneth Clay Govan’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Medford Police Department or call the department’s non-emergency line, and reference case number 24-3727. Other routes of contact are: Nadine Govan (937) 903-6415 (text) or email nadinegovan@gmail.com.
The family and authorities are hopeful that with the public’s assistance, Govan can be located swiftly and returned safely to his loved ones.
The disappearance of Kenneth Clay Govan has left his family in anguish, and authorities are actively seeking any information that may lead to his whereabouts. As the search continues, the support and cooperation of the public are crucial in ensuring his safe return home.
