Medford, Oregon– In the early hours of Wednesday, January 31, at approximately 1:58 AM, the Medford Police Department responded to reports of an armed robbery at the Time Out Sports Bar, situated in the 1200-block of Stewart Ave.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that an unknown assailant had brandished a handgun, demanding money from the clerk who was in the process of closing the establishment for the night. The suspect, described as a younger white male with a slim build, managed to flee on foot before the authorities arrived.

Despite deploying a police K9 to track the suspect through nearby neighborhoods, officers were unable to locate the individual. Authorities are now seeking assistance from the public and have released a photo obtained from the business’s video surveillance system in the hope that it might lead to information about the suspect’s identity.

It’s important to note that due to potential distortions in the images, including colors, height, and weight, public assistance becomes crucial in identifying the perpetrator. The suspect is reported to be wearing all dark clothing, a hood, gloves, and a distinctive black and white face mask. Notably, the individual is also donning Van’s brand shoes.

Members of the public with any information regarding this incident are urged to contact Emergency Communications of Southern Oregon (dispatch) at 541-770-4783, referencing MPD case number 24-1792.
